GTAI GmbH is conducting a Tech Journey to the U.S. on the topic of additive manufacturing.

The AMBER Tech Journey to New York & Boston is an initiative of Berlin Partner for Business and Technology GmbH and the network “Mobility goes Additive” (MGA), realized by Trade & Invest GmbH (GTAI) and organized by Start2 Group.

Participants will gain valuable insights into current regional trends and innovations and have opportunities to connect with potential partners in the U.S. The program includes multiple visits to key companies and institutions, enriching the experience and fostering collaboration.

Boston – One of the Biggest AM Ecosystems in the World

Boston is a hub for innovative MIT spin-offs and boasts one of the most diverse and dynamic additive manufacturing (AM) communities in the world. The city is at the forefront of groundbreaking research and is home to industry leaders and pioneering technology startups. With a strong ecosystem that supports collaboration and growth, Boston continues to drive advancements that shape the future of additive manufacturing. Through this program, we will organize site visits to relevant organizations, such as MIT and Markforged.

Additional Information

The on-site program is offered at no cost, including networking opportunities, conference access, and transfers. Please note that exceptions may apply due to De-minimis regulations. Participants are responsible for covering their own expenses, including airfare, accommodation, meals, etc.

The GTAI delegation program is designed to support SMEs from Berlin and eligible regions (see GRW eligibility map). Scientific institutions, large companies, and interested participants from other regions are also encouraged to apply; however, they will be considered as secondary priority.
