Start2raise has kicked-off the new cohort of 10 startups on May 13: For 24 months, the founders from all over Germany receive individual support for their fundraising, six months of which they are personally coached by mentors specially selected for their needs and benefit from the know-how of Start2’s top experts.
The following start-ups will start the program in May:
With over 50 years of combined experience in IT and data center operations, the two founders of this startup offer software to increase data center performance, reduce costs and increase data center security.
With the AI Sales Co-Pilot, the Hamburg-based startup offers a technology supported by artificial intelligence to increase B2B sales efficiency.
Fluvion
The Munich-based startup develops biomimetic bioreactors. Epithelial cells are efficiently scaled and can be used by industrial partners in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries, for example.
With the help of an innovative procedure, the Göttingen-based startup aims to improve the drug approval process for heart diseases. A non-invasive procedure enables research results with fewer test animals and lower costs.
The start-up from Düsseldorf offers a live shopping software: E-commerce retailers can quickly and easily offer their products via live shows on various channels such as social media, websites or in newsletters.
Stylebot
With Stylebot, the founders want to create a Spotify for fashion: Thanks to the creation of a digital closet, consumers receive suggestions tailored to their preferences when shopping online.
With THE HUB, the startup offers an all-in-one solution for everyone in the metaverse. Whether investing, building or experiencing – companies and consumers of all levels of knowledge will find what they are looking for.
To protect original art and distinguish it from AI-generated content, the startup is launching a digital platform in the greater Munich area. Works of art can be identified, verified and certified here.
Policentransfer is the first digital marketplace for German insurance portfolios. With over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, the founder knows exactly where digital business processes can be improved in the broker market.
With the LIV Assistant, the Darmstadt-based start-up offers an AI that combines the advantages of an individually tailored assistant with data security. Thanks to a personal server, data remains close to the user and under their control.
Kick-off with experienced founders and investors
The founders gained valuable insights at the kick-off event on 14 May in Munich: Dr. Patrick Nathen shared his experiences as co-founder of Lilium, which grew from a startup to a listed company. He then answered questions from the Start2raise participants about successes, challenges and mistakes along the way. The two investors, Itziar Estevez from IRIS and Dr. Michael Jobst from Vsquared Venture, then spoke about the current financing situation for startups in Germany, what investors are looking for and also answered the startups’ questions afterwards.
In addition to individual support from their personal mentors and experts from Start2, the founders meet as a group at the monthly Founder Days and receive on-site coaching on topics such as due diligence, pitch training & body language, resilience and much more.
Start2raise is a program of the Start2 Group. Partners of the program are Stadtsparkasse München, Ergo, MSW Partners, Bayern Kapital and Baker Tilly.
